As the busy month of April drew to a close Matthew played on the first night of Sunwaves 9 Mamaia Beach Romania. Joined by Lee Burridge and Audiofly the packed tent of hardcore clubbers from all over the world partied hard and loved every minute.
Matthew is now in the studio finishing a remix for German producer Ian Pooley. The track Groove Me, already with full support from DJ Hell, Thomas Schumacher and Dixon it is being released as a Vinyl EP on May 11 and as a Digital release on May 19 c/o Ian’s own imprint Pooled Music.

After a chance meeting at a gig in New York in 2009 the two hit it off instantly on a personal and musical level and after realizing they had been living almost parallel lives for the best part of a decade immediately made plans to work in Matthew’s Berlin studio together as soon as their busy touring schedules permitted. read more »

2011 started off strongly for Matthew Dekay ringing in the new year with 8hr set at Yalta in Sofia.
Following that, January took him to Sth America for a successful tour of Argentina and Peru with gigs at “La Estacion” in Cordoba, “Mute” in Mar Del Plata and “Crobar” in Lima.
